Olmsted Performing Arts Youth Theater will perform Seussical Jr.! at River Church Theater (formerly Worldview), 6941 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls, on Friday, July 17th at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 18th at 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Advance tickets are available at www.olmstedperformingarts.com or by calling 440-465-3355. Adults - $8, Children/Seniors - $6. Ticket prices at the door are $9 and $7, respectively.

Beck Center for the Arts presents Barbeque & Beer-Tasting Bash
Spring Fling! Summer Socials! Beck Center presents an exciting series of dinners and parties to celebrate the arts. Prefer an ice-cold beer to a sip of champagne? Then you'll want to kick back and relax at this cool summer outdoor barbeque and beer--tasting party hosted by John and Ellen Brzytwa. A professional beer connoisseur will offer expert guidance in selecting ales, stouts, porters, and lagers and educate us on the fine art of brewing. As you sample the suds, enjoy the fabulous million-dollar view of Cleveland's skyline, including the Rock Hall, the Science Museum, Brown's Stadium and Edgewater Park - unquestionably the best vista in town. Your hosts serve up the burgers, bratwurst, barbeque beans, and beer...you cook up the fun!

Warmer weather ushers in the party season for Clevelanders, and what better way to celebrate the season than the Beck Center for the Arts Spring Fling! Summer Socials! 2009, June through July 2009. This collection of unique and art-focused events is held in some of the west side’s most fabulous homes and hosted by devoted fans of the Beck. All proceeds benefit the Beck Center’s professional theater and arts education program.

Free Band2gether Concert
Downtown Lakewood and Lakewood Is Art is proud to announce the 2009 Band2gether: One World Music Series season. Fourteen youth rock bands and four world bands will entertain the community in Sinagra Park at 14921 Detroit Avenue on Fridays from 7-9 p.m. in July and August.

Audience members are encouraged to bring a chair and be prepared to join in the community exuberance of the shared musical experience. The series is free and open to the public.

Band2gether:One World Music was conceived and brought to Downtown Lakewood by Ruth Koenigsmark and Barbara Michel of Lakewood Is Art with the invaluable support and professional assistance of Chris Vance of Vance Music Studios. This concert series is made possible through generous funding from Lakewood Hospital, Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, and Lakewood-Rocky River Rotary plus support from the City of Lakewood, and the Beck Center.

LakewoodAlive is a 501-(c)(3) nonprofit economic development organization that facilitates economic growth and stability in the city of Lakewood, Ohio. Downtown Lakewood is the National Main Street™ program of LakewoodAlive dedicated to revitalizing our historic business district.

Lakewood Is Art is a volunteer organization that promotes and supports a collaborative arts community in Lakewood.
