Cleveland Craft Coalition's March Show

Greater Cleveland’s newest arts & craft group, the Cleveland Craft Coalition, will be selling handmade wares at their second show, complete with 15 vendors (who range from knitters, sewers, an author, a soap-maker, and more) at local coffeehouse & art gallery, Bela Dubby (13321 Madison Ave, Lakewood). The show is on Saturday, March 6 and will run from 12pm-4pm. The Coalition has already booked space with Bela Dubby to continue their shows the first Saturday of each month during that time slot through June.

Studio 22 Photography and Gallery's First Anniversary Artist Reception

Studio 22 Photography and Gallery opened in January 2009 when many local businesses where closing. Despite the poor economy husband and wife duo Joshua and Patty McLaughlin of Lakewood, went forward with their plans of opening a portrait studio aimed to provide traditional and artistic portraits for family and individuals alike. To offset the portrait studio is a gallery that offers reasonable priced original artwork for sale and serves as a venue for local, emerging artists to exhibit.
Studio 22 Photography and Gallery will celebrate its one year anniversary in March.
A new collection of selected work by painters Nicole Dietz, Katherine Widen, James Ruby, Kim Thorpe, photography by Jeff Mihalich, and jewelry by Cynde Hujarski and Xex will be on exhibit for the months of March and April. An opening reception will be in conjunction with the one year anniversary celebration held on Saturday, March 6 from 5-8PM, all are welcomed.

Mark your calendars for LakewoodAlive’s Second Annual fundraiser “Let’s Wine About Winter” wine tasting event at Rozi’s Wine House on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Last year over 200 “winers” attended this fun event. Only 225 tickets will be sold, so mark your calendars and plan on purchasing your tickets at www.downtownlakewood.org beginning February 1, 2010. Monthly Contra Dance at Masonic Temple Ballroom

The band Mud in Yer Eye with caller Carol Kopp perform a contra dance in the beautiful ball room of the Masonic Temple every First Saturday of the Month.
Singles and couples, age 7 to 100 welcome! No previous dancing experience necessary. At 7pm the caller goes through most of the steps to expect during the night and then again before each new dance set. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
$6 charge at door to help pay for the hall. Lessons begin at 7pm. Dance starts at 8pm.
