Lakewood YMCA Y-Stars Program

Need a fun motivator to keep up with your work out routine? Register for this FREE program and win a T-shirt after 36 visits to the YMCA! Register from March 15 through April 15 and we will place your name on a chart in the branch. Every time you come in to work out, we place a gold star next to your name. If you get 36 stars between April 15 and July 15, you win a YMCA Y-Stars T-shirt!

Income Tax Preparation Clinic

The City of Lakewood-Division of Aging and AARP will be hosting Income Tax Preparation Clinics beginning in February. These clinics are open to anyone filing uncomplicated tax returns, regardless of age, residency, and income or whether they are AARP members. AARP Tax Preparation volunteers will meet individually with interested participants to assist with the completion of the year’s tax returns.
Clinics will be held at Lawther Center (West) on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:00 P.M. through 3:30 P.M.
Appointments are by reservation only. To make a reservation, please call 216-521-1198 between the hours of 10:30 A.M. and 2:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Home Safe Home Childproofing on TLC

Lakewood resident Patrick Kinyon of Home Safe Home Childproofing will be on TLC's Our Little Life at 8pm tonight. As Cleveland's only official Childproofing company, Home Safe Home has been featured by Angie's List Magazine, the Expectant Mothers guide and Fox 8. Pat is also a local firefighter/paramedic and has baby proofed numerous celebrity homes.
