“Pee-ces of Art” Open House APL Benefit
A rejected stray just two short years ago, Tucker
is now giving back to the canine community.
Disabled by a degenerative neurological disease, this tough German Shepherd found his forever home, and in the process also found a way to help those less fortunate animals of Northeast Ohio. He and his foster family will be hosting the inaugural showing of Tucker’s very unique sidewalk creations, “Pee-ces of Art” at Bela Dubby, an art gallery and beer café in Lakewood on Sunday, March 7th from noon to 6pm. The proceeds will benefit both the Cleveland Animal Protective League and Tucker’s rescue group, the Sanctuary for Senior Dogs.

Riders To Bring Back The Daily Lakewood Circulator public meeting.
3:00 PM
Attend this meeting to discuss how to get the daily Lakewood circulator bus restored, including how to persuade Lakewood's mayor and city council to run a daily Lakewood circulator, which the mayor has publicly stated (at the October 5 city council meeting and at other times) he thinks he could possibly run at a profit or break even. So it could pay for itself. He has publicly stated that he may use free circulator buses RTA offered him, or use some of the Lakewood Division of Aging buses not currently being used.
Location:
Lakewood Public Library 15425 Detroit Avenue, first floor multi-purpose room. Phone 216-221-2724 for information or to help.
