Where's My Jet Pack?
12:00 AM

Where’s My Jet Pack

Where’s My Jet Pack? is a trio exhibition that will be held in (art)ificial Gallery with futuristic excitement by artists Sean Burns, Eric Kaplan and Keith Gayton on Saturday September 4th from 6-9pm. The concept of the show is to combine multiple views of the future while having the three styles play off each other. Each work will have added elements that reference the opposing artists work, says Burns. You can expect a 1950’s-60’s Sci-Fi feel in this exhibit, as the floor will be covered in a murky fog, alien rocks and moon dust, and floating astronauts will grace every corner of (art)ifical gallery. So bring bring your tinfoil hats and laser guns for a futuristic ride.
The Opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 4th 2010 from 6-9pm. This is a free exhibit and opened to the public. As always an adult after party will be held at Mullens (located next to the gallery) for all gallery guests.

Cleveland Craft Coalition's September Bazaar
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
We're a group of creative folks who hang out at Bela Dubby the first Saturday of every month, selling our handmade wares, drinking some excellent coffee, and we're hoping you will join us!
...
Everything that is for sale has been handmade and is very affordable. By purchasing from our artists (who are all greater Cleveland folks), you are supporting local, buying a very unique item, and helping us keep doing what we love to do: create. Please dialogue with the artists; ask questions, find out why they do what they do, and ask for advice or tips if you're delving into their particular handicraft.

Cash is the best (smaller bills even better), but you can also pay for your purchases from any artist via Bela Dubby's credit card machine for a $1 fee/transaction.

Please also support Bela Dubby and buy a drink or food item while you're there....they are allowing us free use of their space and we want to keep making it worth it for them to host us!

6:00 PM
A mysterious woman walks into the low rent office of a hard-boiled detective. We have seen it before; but here, in the office of Sam Spade, is where it all began. With a pace that quickens as tension mounts, Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Sidney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre are after one thing: The Maltese Falcon, a jewel-encrusted statuette, "the stuff that dreams are made of."
