Presented by Donald Martens & Sons Ambulance Services, Inc.: 13th Annual Ambulance Chase 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk. Proceeds will benefit Lakewood Hospital’s Rehabilitation Services and a variety of other patient care programs. Join us for this great community event.
1 mile walk 8:30 a.m.
5K Run/Walk 9:00 a.m.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
$20 preregistration through April 21; $25 thereafter and race day

Lakewood Historical Society's 26th annual Sale on the Grounds

Lakewood's largest resale pop-up shop open to the public on Saturday, May 3 & Sunday, May 4. The Nicholson House and the grounds are filled with antiques & collectibles, kitchen & barware, everyday dishes, utensils and cookware, and probably the largest accumulation of Pyrex and Corningware in Lakewood alongside vintage toys, games, decorative items and fine linens and dainty handkerchiefs, crystal, silver, china, depression glass, all at bargain prices? Parking at St. Ed's across the street.

The West Shore Chorale Presents Mozart's Mass in C Minor

On Sunday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m., the West Shore Chorale & Orchestra present Mozart’s Mass in C Minor (The Great), at Magnificat Center for the Performing Arts. John Drotleff, Conductor. Special guests include Mitzi Westra, Mezzo, J.R. Fralick, Tenor and Jose Gotera, Bass. The Chorale is also thrilled to welcome soprano soloist, Rebecca Pitcher, a Cleveland native best known for her long-run as Christine Daae in Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera. Described as having “a glorious voice, and a luminous presence,” Ms. Pitcher has appeared in over 3000 performances of Phantom in the US , Broadway and Singapore. Tickets $15, students of all ages are free. Purchase at the door, on line at westshorechorale.org or call 216-373-7773.
