Ask the Experts: The Art of Aging Well

Discover secrets for living well (and actively) at any age. Start your evening with health screenings and wellness information. Following a sit-down dinner, enjoy a lively, informal Q & A discussion where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of a panel of Cleveland Clinic heart, back pain, joint pain and eye specialists. Questions will be submitted anonymously in writing, prior to the Q & A discussion.

Dinner in the Valley: A Lesson in Ducks

Each month, our Dinner in the Valley series features a seasonal or thematic meal hosted at one of the beautiful, historic spaces in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and surrounding areas. Join your fellow park enthusiasts to enjoy a gourmet dinner and explore a unique space in the national park.

Ticket prices: $40 general, $35 Conservancy members, $15 children ages 5-12. Conservancy members can apply their discount to all their guests' meals! Become a member and reserve tickets at www.conservancyforcvnp.org.

In response to many requests, Chef Larkin Rogers will begin the evening with a demonstration on deboning a whole duck. Dinner follows, featuring the delicious waterfowl and a glass of wine.

Knowing Your Home: The Visible House
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
This event is being co-hosted by the City of Lakewood and LakewoodAlive, please come to 2147 Dowd and see the work that the city is doing to make this 4 unit building into a single family home. It will also be a great opportunity to see what your home loooks like under the plaster, this gutted house reveals its structural elements and gives you insight into how your own home works.

This event is an open house. There will be no formal program. You will have an opportunity to talk to representatives from the City of Lakewood and LakewoodAlive about the house and the future plans for the home. You will also be able to ask questions about your own home's structure, etc.

Parking can be found on Dowd as well as Plover Streets. We hope to see you there for this unique opportunity.

Wait, what?? How is this possible?

During this FREE workshop, Health Coaches, Selina Almodovar of Well Said Living, and Amanda E. Roberts, of AERO Wellness, will be discussing how sugar affects your mind, body, and soul as well as simple solutions to curb your cravings once and for all!

Light refreshments will be provided along with a raffle basket give-away, containing some of Coach Selina and Amanda's favorite health and wellness essentials.
