Hospice Volunteer Education

Hospice Volunteer Education – Sundays, July 20, 27, Aug. 3, Aug. 10, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Hospice of the Western Reserve, St. John’s West Shore Hospital, 29101 Health Campus Dr., Building 2, Suite 400, Westlake, OH 44145. Anyone 13 years of age or older interested in making a difference in the lives of others is welcome to attend this training. Volunteers interested in working with patients attend all sessions, while volunteering in non-patient areas and teen volunteering requires only attendance at the first class on July 20. RSVP required. Contact the Volunteer Team at 800-707-8922 (6881). Classes are offered at other times and days throughout the year. Enjoy concert and chamber music in a casual setting in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Music By Nature concert series runs from June to August. Admission is $20 for general public and $17 for Conservancy members. The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park partners with the National Park Service to bring four different concert series to your national park every year. You can experience folk music, chamber music, indoor concerts, outdoor concerts, and more. For more information about our concert series, visit https://www.conservancyforcvnp.org/events/concerts. Here they are again - back by popular demand! Approaching choral programs as sound mosaics, these singers are going to bring you everything from folk music to the Beatles, Carly Simon, movie tunes, stunning love songs and a whole lot more. This is music that will sound familiar to all ages.
