Parent Resource Night
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Parenting teens and tweens isn't easy and we all deserve some support! Join us at our Parent Resource Night, sponsored by Lakewood 360 (a committee of the Ranger 360 Program) and the Lakewood Family Collaborative. The event will include a resource room filled with agencies and organizations that address issues commonly experienced by teens. The organizations that will be present provide programming and services related to mental health, body image & eating disorders, substance abuse, reproductive health, diversity & sexual orientation, crime victimization and much, much more! In addition to our resource room, we will be hosting three 20 minute break-out sessions covering the following topics: Social Media 101, Stress & Anxiety, Alcohol and Drug use in Lakewood and Sexual Assault, Dating Violence & Stalking. This event is open to parents of children spanning all ages, professionals who work with youth and families and any other Lakewood or neighboring community members who are interested in learning more about local resources for young people and their families.
