Good Company Concert Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Join Good Company: a Vocal Ensemble, for A Girl’s Garden, a 20th anniversary celebration concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday January 18 at Lakewood Presbyterian Church. Karen Weaver, Conductor. Patrick Wickliffe, Accompanist. The 30 voice ensemble will perform Randall Thompson’s Frostiana, Eric Whitacre’s Flower Songs, and choral settings by Paul Mealor, Clement Janequin, and local composer, Carlos Castells-Hogan. A free will offering will be taken. Parking is free and the venue is handicap accessible. For more information visit www.good-co.org.

Eliza Jennings Best of the Wild Wild West

This year’s annual Eliza Jennings benefit will be held on Sunday, May 17th at The Renaissance Retirement Campus. The Best of the Wild Wild West will feature food and open bar, silent auction, wine and dine pull, casino games and raffle. It is from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $85.00 per person. Dress is business casual. Proceeds support Eliza Jennings services and charity care for older adults, including SAIDO Learning, which is a treatment that improves the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
