First Annual Birdtown Church Walk
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Four of the churches in the historic Birdtown neighborhood of Lakewood will be offering tours at no charge on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 1:00-4:00 PM. The churches hosting the walk include: Grace Lutheran Church at Grace and Madison, St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Quail Ave., Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church at Dowd and Madison, and Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church at Lakewood and Madison. A list of area merchants who will be offering a special discount or promotion the afternoon of the walk will be provided to all visitors.

Paint Night for Animals

Voices in the Dark Animal Rescue is hosting Paint Night!
Sunday June 14th

Fox & Hound, Parma
In two hours, while you’re sipping on a cocktail, a performing artist will guide you through, step-by-step, each painting so that you come up with your own unique masterpiece at the end of the night that you will be amazed YOU created.
We provide everything you will need: canvas, paints, brushes and even a smock. You just bring your fun loving friends and have a few cocktails to keep the spirits high and inhibitions to a minimum and we'll make sure your inner Picasso is unleashed. No art experience necessary!
