Introduction to Gestalt Coaching

Gestalt loosely translates as "meaningful whole," which describes how humans perceive and organize their experience. As a methodology, Gestalt is a holistic approach to human development that has powerful application in coaching.
Come taste Gestalt methodology and explore the Gestalt approach to coaching. This two-day workshop introduces key Gestalt concepts through experiential learning and dialogue. Awareness, contact styles, Cycle of Experience, Unit of Work, paradoxical theory of change: become familiar with these Gestalt concepts and discover how a Gestalt stance can improve your coaching technique.
Whether you are a practicing coach new to Gestalt, or new to both Gestalt and coaching, this workshop will prepare you for other coach training opportunities at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

2015 Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo

The Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo returns for a second year and will bring remodeling, renovation and design inspiration to the Cleveland Convention Center, March 27-29. This three-day home improvement expo will feature a multitude of local exhibitors that allow visitors to shop for home improvement contractors, home décor and other products and services for their renovation project. Fully-constructed small living space vignettes, a “Mini Mansion” container home, and how-to stage are among the highlights sure to excite and surprise show attendees. Visitors will also hear about the latest renovation trends from HGTV’s Fixer Upper, Chip and Joanna Gaines, and one of the most well-known house flippers through his role in Bravo’s docu-series Flipping Out, Jeff Lewis. At the Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo, visitors can find everything they need to turn their home renovation dreams into a reality.

Voices in the Dark Animal Rescue: A Birthday for Betty

Cost: $20 Presale/$25 at the Door - includes all you can eat and drink
All money raised goes towards our mission of rescuing abused, neglected and abandoned animals in the Cleveland Metropolitan Area! Join us for celebration, lots of food and drinks, raffle baskets and 50/50!
On March 30th, 2013 we found Betty with over 100 open wounds all over her body, she was severely underweight and could barely walk. She was likely used as a bait dog for a dog fighting ring.
Other area rescues refused to take her in because of her breed and injuries. That was the beginning of Voices in the Dark Animal Rescue and the recovery of Betty Davis.
Today, Betty is almost fully recovered and has been officially adopted by her Foster Moms. She has also become our official mascot and drives our belief that given a little TLC any animal is adoptable.
Join us to celebrate her 3rd Birthday!
