Human Trafficking 101

Human Trafficking 101: Who is trafficked, where trafficking takes place, and both how and why it occurs. What is being done in terms of anti-trafficking efforts? What about human trafficking laws and safe harbor in Ohio? What can you do to help combat human trafficking? Speakers are from The Collaborative Initiative to End Human Trafficking will be presenting to the Lakewood Council of PTAs on March 4th, 7pm at the Lakewood Board of Education. All are welcome to attend.

*PTA Council Meeting 7pm-7:30pm followed by the presentation.

Explaining the Packaging on Supermarket Shelves

College Club West will continue its monthly gathering on March 4, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Don Umerley Civic Center, 21016 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River. Take this opportunity to hear a presentation on "Explaining the Packaging on Supermarket Shelves" by Ben Miyares, a Corporate Packaging Specialist.
This social club is a nonprofit organization for college educated women and hosts monthly meetings where topics of interest are presented to women in addition to sponsoring smaller and varied interest groups. These smaller groups include book discussion, a bowling league, a golf league, gardening, genealogy research, stock investment and quilting to name a few.
