Take a training. Save a life.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Training

You can learn to recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) teaches three simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. The goal of QPR training is to help prevent deaths by suicide in Cuyahoga County and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and addiction.
Jane Granzier, Assoc. Director of Crisis Services at Frontline Service and certified QPR Instructor, will be providing the QPR Training.
You will learn to:
•Recognize the warning signs of a suicidal crisis
•Offer hope
•Help save a life with community resources
*This free training has been brought to Cuyahoga County by the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County. The ADAMHS Board is able to offer this free training thanks to a grant from the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation and with the support of The Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Ohio.*
1.5 CEU/RCH will be awarded.

Retracing Footsteps: A Glimpse of Lakeside Cemetery in Bay Village

Collge Club West will host its general meeting. The program will be presented by Cathy Flamant, Author and President of Bay Historical Society. College Club West meets monthly and presents topics of interest to women.
In addition, there are 39 smaller and varied interest groups that meet separately. One of the interest groups "Lend A Hand" will be collecting items for donation to the Animal Protective League. Items needed include cleaning supplies, pet food, and other pet-related items. Membership in College Club West is open to women who have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited degree-granting college. New members are welcome. Visit our website at www.collegeclubwest.org
