Developing the Talent Pipeline: 2016 Cleveland Internship Summit

Northeast Ohio companies of all sizes are encouraged to participate in the 2016 Cleveland Internship Summit. The Summit - sponsored by Cleveland State University (CSU) and The Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) – is intended to encourage and facilitate internships for our community’s young adults. The Summit, which is free, will feature a wide array of professionals discussing the advantages for companies that offer internships. Speakers include Ronald Berkman, President of CSU, and Joe Roman, President and CEO of GCP.

The 2016 Great Big Home + Garden Show

The 2016 Great Big Home + Garden Show presented by 84 Lumber will bring exhibitors, celebrities and special events to Northeast Ohio when it comes to Cleveland’s I-X Center February 5-14. A Celebration!-themed Garden Showcase, cooking stage, fully-constructed Idea and Hi-Tech Entertainment homes, and Urban Farmhouse are among the many highlights sure to excite and surprise show attendees. Home and garden celebrities making appearances include HGTV’s Two Chicks and a Hammer presenting their new show Good Bones, the Cooking Channel’s Beekman Boys and Jason Cameron of DIY’s Desperate Landscapes, Man Caves and Sledgehammer. At The Great Big Home + Garden Show, visitors can find innovative products, new ideas, practical advice and great deals in remodeling, home improvement and gardening with hundreds of experts under one roof.

NEOPC February meeting
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
In February, Northeast Ohio Personal Computers welcomes Lee Gerber and Dennis Lewis for their workshop session " Questions & Answers ( Q & A ) " and Bruce Brockman with a Zoom Session of this NEOPC General Meeting.

All are welcome to bring questions on computer-related topics that are of general and specific interest. This workshop session covers:

●Basic computer fundamentals for Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10
●Security, including Microsoft Security Essentials and AVG Anti-Virus
●Maintenance, including CCleaner and Malwarebytes
●Software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
●Wireless and Wi-Fi Devices, streaming TV, movies, and music
●Tablets and Smartphones
●Topics like digital cameras and digital video cameras, the NEOPC web site, how to post and reply to our Forum, and whether or not to upgrade to Windows 10

Bruce Brockman will facilitate this meeting as a Zoom Session online with NEOPC members.
