Civics & Civil Liberties: LKWD Dem Club meeting

This month the Lakewood Democratic Club will focus on Civics & Civil Liberties. Featured guests are:
Dr. Larry Keller, a teacher at Cleveland State University; in addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Keller has worked with a variety of local government bodies. He was part of the 2004 and 2014 Lakewood Charter Review Commissions. Dr. Keller believes the modern city needs both effective public officials and active citizen groups.
Frank Kunstel has been a volunteer for the ACLU for the past 15 years. He has made presentations for the ACLU on the topics of national security and civil liberties, mass incarceration, and Know Your Rights.
Doors open at 6:30 and the formal program begins at 7. Meetings are free to attend as a guest!
