The April meeting of the Herb Guild Garden Club will be held on April 12, 2017. This month's presentation, which starts at 12:30 pm, will be on "The Beautiful & Fascinating Art Form of Eastern Papermaking." The speaker is Tom Balboa, director of the Morgan Conservatory. The Conservatory is located in downtown Cleveland and is dedicated to the art of papermaking. It houses artists who are devoted to book arts, printing, and papermaking. The public is welcome to visit and it has accommodations to host special events. You can learn more about this unique facility by visiting their website http://www.morganconservatory.org.
The Herb Guild is a local organization and meets on the second Wednesday of the month at Porter Public Library in Westlake, Ohio (27333 Center Ridge Road) in the Porter Room. A socialization and arts experience for those with memory loss/dementia at the Carolyn L. Farrell Foundation studio. It begins with lunch, either brown bag or ordered ahead of time from Panera, and is followed by an art, music, storytelling, or dance activity. No cost.
