"Cutting the Cord: Things to Consider before Firing your Cable Company"

Join NEOPC (Northeast Ohio Personal Computers) for a pre-recorded presentation by Hewie Poplock of the Central Florida Computer Society. It was presented to the APCUG (our umbrella organization) at the November 2018 Virtual Technology Conference. Hewie talks about over-the-air and over-the-Internet services, including the many ways to fulfill your wants and needs for TV viewing. He includes information about Broadband, the hardware needed and even Internet home phones. A list of his references and a copy of his slides are available to view online. After the presentation we will entertain discussion and questions about this fast-changing topic. We offer conversation and refreshments in the Porter Room at Westlake Porter Public Library at 6:30 p.m.; the meeting starts at 7:00. Free and open to all.

Join author Debbi Perkul to learn about the fascinating years of 1913–1915 through the eyes of Clevelander Rae Landy, the very first Hadassah nurse. A book signing follows the talk.
