Please join us for this uplifting annual ceremony on Saturday, June 24, 2023. This family-friendly event will allow you to release a butterfly, nature’s symbol of transformation and beauty, to honor and remember your loved one.
All butterflies are available for $20 each and are released following the memorial ceremony.

Rose Show June 24-25 at Church of the Ascension
2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
The Forest City Rose Society will hold its Spring Rose Show on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 in Strom Hall at Church of the Ascension. The show includes 47 classes for horticultural specimens of all types of roses and eight classes for rose arrangements.
Free admission. Hours are 2:00 – 5:30 Saturday and Noon – 1:30 Sunday. American Rose Society Certified Consulting Rosarians will be available to answer questions about roses and their care.
No charge to enter your roses in the show; for more information or a show schedule of the rules and classes, email Corky Thacker.
