Wine List for February 12th charity tasting

2007 Round Hill Oak-Free Chard.
Enticing aromas of fresh pears, honeysuckle and green apple with rich flavors of poached pears, apricots and crisp green apples intertwined with a hint of lemon.
2007 Rutherford Chardonnay
Aromas of freshly picked apricots, sweet honey, crisp green apples and just peeled lemon zest followed by hints of vanilla and crème brûlée. Flavors of ripe peach, pear, vanilla and crisp Myers lemon are perfectly
balanced leaving your palate with a clean, crisp finish.
2007 Rutherford Sauv. Blanc
Perfectly integrated aromas of ripe gooseberry, fresh lemon zest and citrus blossom interlaced with fragrant passion fruit. Abundant flavors of grapefruit, ripe Meyer lemon, sweet blood orange leading to soft mineral notes.
2005 Round Hill Merlot
Bright Bing cherry, anise, earth and mineral notes in the aroma mingle with soft rose petals. Bing cherry and berry flavors linger pleasingly on the palate with hints of toasted oak and vanilla in the finish.
2006 Rutherford Merlot
Lush, bright flavors of Bing cherry, plum and raspberry with fragrant aromas of vanilla and nutmeg. It is medium bodied with soft tannins and a long, satisfying finish. 15 months in French and American oak.
2005 Rutherford Rhiannon
Rhiannon, named after the Celtic goddess linked to King Arthur's sword, is savory with flavors of nutmeg, toasted almonds, juicy cherries and raspberry.
2006 Rutherford Zinfandel
Elegant, complex bouquet of ripe boysenberries, black pepper and French vanilla. Lavish flavors fill your mouth, blending ripe blackberries with plum and vanilla. A very balanced Zinfandel with rich tannins and a long, lingering fruit finish.
2005 Round Hill Cab. Sauv.
Aromas of ripe, black cherry, raspberry and French vanilla with forward fruit flavors of boysenberry and raspberry. Soft, elegant tannins lead to a smooth finish making this wine enjoyable from beginning to end.
2006 Rutherford Cab. Sauv.
Complex layers of black currant, anise, and ripe Bing cherry intertwined with subtle nuances of toasty oak. Full fruit flavors of black currant and pomegranate, with soft undertones of vanilla, fill your mouth on the very first sip.
2004 Rutherford Reserve Cab.
Our Reserve opens with a subtle punch of spring cherry bloom with a whisper of smoke. The taste begins with a blend of mocha, black tea, ripe Bing cherry, blackberry and rhubarb. The smooth velvety tannins compliment the full fruit intensity from initial taste through the finish.
