I've seen a booth at the farmers' market on occasion, but that is seasonal.
I think Joanne Fabrics in the little plaza at Detroit and Warren has someone come in occasionally. You might give them a call. I can't speak as to the quality of the work, as I do my own. Ingersol's hardware has a list of tradesmen and I think they had a sharpener on that list. Perhaps Lakewood hardware also has such a list. I know a sharpener comes to the West Side Market to do the knives there, but my butcher didn't have his name, and thought he limited his practice to vendors.
