The 3rd Annual Lakewood City Wide Street Sale is approaching and the Friends of the Lakewood Public Library are participating by hosting a Front Porch Book Sale on Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy the shade of the Library’s Front Porch while browsing the Friends’ collection for a new addition to your own personal library.

The centerpiece of the Friends operation is the old-fashioned Book Sale. When you purchase books, movies, magazines and other items at these events, you are participating in a grand experiment, now celebrating thirty years of service to the Library and the community. All proceeds go to fund free concerts, films, lectures and special activities for children.
