I find it funny that he can hear dogs bark from the dog park, but no dogs barking from the city shelter right next door. Dogs are there too. How does he know exactly where the barking is coming from? Does this man want to move the shelter too? Maybe I will take a walk around his "neighborhood" with some of my dogs....

You are probably right in your assessment of the man.
For the record, I think Nate Kelly, our immediate neighbors, and myself are as close as
any property to the actual dog park. With clear line of site, of the park(no trees in the
way), and east of it. While I often hear dogs barking walking by, and even playing in the
river, I cannot ever remember hearing the dog park, and certainly never at a level that
would cause me to start a one person war against the city.
Where he suggested putting it would cost Lakewood a fortune to move, pave parking,
fences, build up the ground, gravel, etc. I would hate to think that the need for county
votes would allow our city to bend to the whim of a couple non-Lakewood residents. We
shall see.
