OK so where can I find a toilet tank lid to replace one that broken? It's an older model American Standard toilet. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd call Glenn at Lakewood Hardware, but if you want plumbers' Satori, call Menyhart Plumbing, 631.5519 (6304 Lorain Avenue).

Check out their website at http://menyhartplumbing.com because you may be able to order your part online and come in later to pick it up.

Some days there is quite a long line to talk with the pros. Menyhart is where the pros go.
