So let me get this straight. This Islamic Center opened its doors for a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” and none of the officers wanted to go. The higher ups ordered this captain to order other officers to go to this non work event, he refused and has been reassigned, put under investigation and is being called a bigot by the Islamic group that wanted them there in the first place. I love that the suit is only for a $1, shows his intentions are just to get the word out.

There is no mention of Ibrahim Hooper being a member of or associate of the Tulsa Islamic Center. He works in Washington DC. He looks like a white guy who converted to Islam. He is a very pale white guy. he might even be Irish.
The article you posted offers no reaction or quotes from the Tulsa Islamic Society.
I did not know there were Muslims in Tulsa. It is possible there are many convenience store owners, small merchants, diner and restaurant owners among this group. the kind of businesses that get robbed and vandalized a lot. in addition to whatever doctors, engineers, whatever, in this group.
