Carrie Underwood's Play On Tour in Cleveland, November 1, 2010

Country mega-star Carrie Underwood brought her Play On Tour, and a ton of fans ready to have a good time, to Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center on Monday. The new leg of the tour started back in September and will continue through December 19, giving Carrie over 100 live shows in 2010.

The most successful American Idol winner to date showed why she holds that crown in Cleveland. No sign of fatigue or boredom from her, as she belted out note after note, often wow-ing the fans in attendance.

The tour features an elaborate set with plenty of surprises. Rising platforms, costume changes, a flying pickup truck, it's all part of the show. It would be easy for a small town girl like Carrie to get lost on a big stage in an arena, but she had the stage presence of a superstar. It helps that she's been doing this show all year long, because set ran like a well-oiled machine.

Underwood took the stage to "Cowboy Casanova," and her two hour set of 19 songs was a well-balanced weave of old and new material. Powerful renditions of "Just a Dream" and "So Small" probably gave every person goosebumps, while arena-style anthems like "Undo it", "Last Name" and "Before He Cheats" filled the arena with powerful guitar riffs and pitch-perfect singing.

Carrie is the real deal, and she continues to prove that year after year. The accolades and trophies are well-deserved, but it his her live show that will convince any music fan. The show was exceptional, and we can't wait what the future holds for this superstar.
