LHS JV Softball 4-21-07 vs Westlake Double Header
Game #1: 4-3 Westlake beats Lakewood
Game #2: 11-1 Lakewood beats Westlake
Game two of the double header was an exciting one against Westlake HS. Each girl contributed something to the mercy rule victory over Westlake. Sophomore Kelsey Moran had a home run as well as 4 RBI's. Sophomore Danielle Villnuve pitched all 5 innings of play, striking out 8 batters. She didn't walk a batter and did not give up any earned runs.
The game ended on a double by Sierra Kapsalis who drove in the final runs to give the lady rangers a 10 run lead. By rule in High School Softball, the game is called due to the "Mercy Rule".
The JV Lady Rangers are 8-5 this season and are tearing up the LEL.
