DACA Rally in Cleveland

Activists gather at Market Square on a wet Thursday evening to protest President Trump's decision to end DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. #OHereToStay was sponsored by DreamActivist Ohio, Cleveland Jobs With Justice, Indivisible CLE, Ohio's Voice, InterReligious Task Force, Eleonor Ramirez, and Don Bryant. There was a modest turnout of about 150 people. Several immigrants spoke, most notably a DACA student from Case Western Reserve University. The protest was peaceful, with two CPD cruisers watching from a hidden alley across the street.
