No one could have possibly thought the trade of the Beams of the World Trade Center would happen the very day Usama Bin Ladin was found and killed by Navy Seals. The lighthouse got covered in ice this year, as it does every year, but this year it got picked up by national news sources and you had to fight for room to get a shot. Lakewood used to have decorations all over town. Detroit Ave. and Madison Ave. up and down the street. Huge display of lights at Lakewood Park with luminaries on the bike trail, just marvelous stuff. Now everything has been moved by LakewoodAlive's orders to the business district of "Mainstreet" in Lakewood's "Downtown." While some of us were driving around and complaining, suddenly the beauty of the effort came forward. Each and every snowflake is different. Just like the real things. So we went out and documented the snowflakes, and noticed that LA had brought an entire theme to not just "DowqntowN" on "Mainstreet" but throughout the city! Photos from inside Municipal Court Judge Patrick Carroll's courtroom as he sentenced a Richard Naumann to live in one of his apartment buildings until it is fixed to the court's approval. The judge issued a strong statement, "It all ends here. I will nor longer tolerate bad landlords. You are going to be my test case, for how to treat all landlords, that do not take care of their tennents. Easter Sunday the day of the blizzard, your tennents paid for the right to take hot showers. You Mr. Naumann deprived them of that right."
