  • Current trend in flowers that "thousands of people travel downtown every week to see our flowers..." in the DowntowN footprint. Area is within Mainstreet, DowntowN, and Lakewood Alive's footprint of keeping Lakewood beautiful.

  • Meanwhile on Coventry they have mastered keeping flowers alive, street beds vibrant, trees trimmed, and streets clean. Boy these people could use some help from our CDC!

  • These guys have been working what was called Sinagra Park the past week or so. So I went over and spoke with them. While they insisted I read the bible (again), they refused to read the "Golden Bough" by 19th century minister James Frazier. They kept explaining to me that the bible was the word of God. That the "writers were like the Bic pens of God."

  • These are formed shingles. Thin plastic with air chambers and lips that fit together and look like tile. They weighed next to nothing, and are far cheaper than the real thing. The circled area shows the edge of 17 shingles!
