A good crowd rocking out at LIA's/Mainstreet's Band2gether. -
"A Fabulous Waste Of Time" kicks off the series of concerts. They are very good. -
fun for all at the Band2gether 1st concert. -
LIA's table selling t-shirts and giving out bracelets and other things. -
As the first band starts to play the crowd gets settled in. -
during the early soundcheck, Members of LIA, and the Sinagras pose for a picture. From left to right, Chris Vance, Lucy Sinagra, DL Meckes, Barbara Michel, Ruthie Koenigsmark, and Tony Sinagra. -
The Sinagra clan. They all came as they were going out of town to celebrate "Sister Annette Sinagra's" golden jubilation, 50 years in the service of the church. "Lakewood, and it's art and music are so important to us, we were thrilled to kick off this music series." Let's not forget that it was Lucy Sinagra that started the Lakewood Arts Festival, and did so much work to growing the Beck Center. -
Tony Sinagra telling Chris Vance, "O'Bryan, Business what?! The kid was nothing, I had to show him how to order water, and buy shoes!" -
Then the crowd started dancing. -
Trancmitter, the second band to play on this special night of first. Lakewood Is Art, Lakewood's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd artwalk, putting art into public spaces, saving public art, and now concerts series around town! It goes to show you what can be accomplished when instead of complaining we work together to make the city better.
Thanks again to LIA and Mainstreet.
