As I go back to the car, I am reminded that Dog is GOD spelled backwards. Maybe they are the chosen ones?

As I walk outside on a crsip fall Lakewood fall day, a RTA full size bus flys by with no one on it. -
As I walk over the the Metro Parks in this walkable community I look down into the Emerald Canyon at various fishermen, working the beautiful Rocky River for trout or salmon. -
A mallard rises up out of the canyon, feels the cold air and... -
... and joins up with some friends and turns south. -
I climb in the car and head down the street to breakfast, and the lake. As I stop I see a happy dog going for a ride. -
As I get down to the lake, the breeze is chilly, the clouds look like winter will not be far away. But today is just perfect. -
Even the gulls look like they are getting ready for something. -
I look upand there is my good friend RTA flying by in one of those large empty busses. -
RTA - America's Best Public Transit System! Wow! Must be terrible in those other cities. -
And as the sun sets over the Emerald Canyon, I think of what tomorrow brings. -

... this ambulance went by and I decided to follow... -
... it arrives at the Sloane Subway, aka Dead Man's Curve... -
...arriving at the railroad over pass, we see many police and fire vehicles all looking down... -
... -
... by this time the story surfacing was a man walking his dog, under the trestle, saw a man walking overhead heading west on the railroad tracks. When he turned away he suddenly heard branches breaking and a loud thud! When he looked the man wasgone!... -
They spot a body and rush down the hill... -
They bring the person down the hill across the reiver and up by the Westlake Hotel/Apartments. -
Lakewood's rescue boat comes ashore down at the boat ramps. -
As they load up Lakewood's boat, I notice what a beautiful day it had become. -
Looking down the river, back to the scene of the accident. -
As I look across the river I think of the huge blocks of ice that will be herein the spring. Notice the man fishing in the right corner? -
