Colin Teets Update 11/8/08

A NJ/ PA hockey team that heard of Colin's plight and sent this in support of Colin's recovery.
It was a quiet day here in the Rehab Pavilion.  The cleaners removed all Quenten’s old medical necessities and bed, and then scrubbed down the room.   It forced me to tidy up all Colin’s belongings.   After that, the only real noise was from Colin and I, and anyone that dropped by to visit him.  The Korek family came at lunchtime and brought Connor with them.  The boys played Uno and helped Colin with homework (chewing gum).  It was a fun time.  Alex, Chris and Connor had Colin smiling and laughing the whole time.  The Villwock family came at dinnertime.  Again, the kids played Uno.  Colin seems to be hooked on that game for the moment.  It was a marathon game lasting a good hour and a half as they played for both first and second place. All day long Colin practiced lifting his right arm.  He concentrates real hard and contracts every muscle he possibly can just to lift it.  The little movement he had on Wednesday has gotten bigger and this has given him some motivation to keep trying.Free Time for Nov. 10 – Nov. 14, 2008 Monday: 12:00-2:30 & 3:30-8:30 Tuesday: 12:00-2:00 & 3:00-8:30 Wednesday: 3:00-8:30 Thursday: 12:00-3:00, 3:30-4:30 & 6:30-8:30 Friday: 12:00-1:00 & 2:00-8:30
