Free Insulation

You may be eligible for free insulation!

Through the HOUSEWARMING program, you may be eligible for free insulation and other energy conservation measures. These conservation measures are designed to promote energy efficiency and may include**:

·         A safety inspection of the home

·         Possible furnace tune-up/repair

·         Insulation measures in the attic and sidewalls

·         A carbon monoxide alarm

·         Energy saving education and materials to help sustain ongoing energy conservation

This program is available to residents regardless of whether they own or rent the home they live in. You must qualify by income. Income guidelines have increased this year, so if you weren’t eligible last year, you may be this year. Household income cannot exceed the guidelines below*:

 

1 person household        $21,660

2 person household        $29,140

3 person household        $36,620

4 person household        $44,100

5 person household        $51,580

Each additional person  Add $7,480
