Life After The $8,000.00 Tax Credit

If you are a first time home buyer and you did not meet the $8,000.00 tax credit deadline don’t fret. Interest rates are very low and there are other first time buyer programs such as the OHFA program and the MCC program you can tap into.

To get more information the best thing to do is ask a lender.  Not all lenders offer these programs but many of them do. Lenders that do offer these programs will be able to explain how they can benefit you. While you’re at it, ask them to assist you with your pre-approval. Once you are pre-approved you will be ready to talk to a realtor who can assist you in finding your first home!
