UGIVE.org Expands To Cleveland

UGIVE.org is thrilled to announce its expansion from its home office in Cincinnati to the Greater Cleveland area this month! UGIVE is a free website connecting high school students with area nonprofit organizations for meaningful volunteer opportunities. After just 2 years of existence, UGIVE has already generated over 75,000 service hours from 11,000 student volunteers!

The nonprofit has placed three of its AmeriCorps VISTA members in the area in order to better serve the communities of Northeast Ohio. Katie Brahaney, Kristina Mielke, and Molly Dull are working as UGIVE.org’s Cleveland Youth Service Outreach Coordinators for the 2010-2011 school year. They will be contacting local charities and school districts to promote UGIVE as a tool to make volunteerism and community engagement more accessible to all high school students in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.

UGIVE.org has been endorsed by the Ohio Department of Education and has forged strong community partnerships with various locations of The United Way. Any questions can be directed to Molly Dull at (216) 901-4228 or molly@ugive.org.
