Mayor Is Listening

Mayor Edward FitzGerald has a program where he listens in person to what residents think about their City.

Listening To Lakewood (L2L) is a program where Mayor FitzGerald and members of his Administration visit residents in different neighborhoods each month. Mayor Ed FitzGerald listens to what questions and concerns you have about the City. After the visits a neighborhood meeting is held with Mayor Ed FitzGerald and his staff.

This meeting is a great way to meet Mayor Ed FitzGerald, talk to him directly and get your concerns heard. The Mayor also gives a Power Point presentation addressing the city’s issues and what he is doing to correct them.

This month Mayor FitzGerald is visiting the neighborhood of Clarence Avenue to West 117th Street between Detroit and Madison sections (sec.28&29 on the Lakewood Web site). The neighborhood meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Garfield Middle School, 13114 Detroit Avenue. Any Lakewood resident may attend.
