Voting March 6, 2012

For our last issue prior to the primary, we approached the campaigns of all three candidates in the hotly contested Democratic Primary to provide answers to a standardized set of questions to help our readers compare their options for the new 9th Congressional District. The new district runs along the shores of Lake Erie and combines parts of the 9th and 10th Congressional Districts. Incumbents Marcy Kaptur (current 9th District) and Dennis Kucinich (current 10th District) are both on the Democratic Primary ballot, along with newcomer Graham Veysey. Due to time and space constraints the two Republican Candidates, Steven W. Kraus and Samuel J. Wurzelbacher were not approached at this time. In addition to the victors from the Democratic and Republican Primaries, the General Election ballot will include Sean P. Stipe as a Libertarian candidate for the new 9th Congressional District.

In addition to the Congressional primary, other key races appearing on the March 6 ballot include, the Republican Presidential Primary, the Democratic Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Primary, and the Cuyahoga County-wide Issue 15 Health and Human Services Proposed Tax Levey (Renewal).
