H2O "Clothes For Kids" Supersale!
“Clothes 4 Kids Supersale” is Saturday, July 28.
Now, where can you buy gently used clothes for an average price of about seventy-five cents per item?
It can be done! You can shop at H2O’s annual Clothing Drive Supersale on Saturday, July 28th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This massive one-day sale takes place in the East Cafeteria (under the overhang) of Lakewood High School. There will be thousands of clothing items for all seasons, from infant to adult sizes. And it’s just in time for back to school!
The purpose of the clothing drive is to provide low-cost clothes for area families, but it also serves as a fund-raiser for the City of Lakewood, Division of Youth’s H2O program. Every dollar collected at the sale will directly benefit Help to Others, especially in funding Summer Service Camp. Kids in H2O’s Summer Service Camp run the Clothing Drive as a service site, and they learn that it is difficult to provide clothes for every member of a family, especially for the range of weather in our area. They take great pride in sorting and pricing the donated items that can provide relief for this difficult task. Shoppers at the Supersale can expect to find winter accessories, coats, shoes, belts, athletic wear, and too many clothing items to list!
H2O would like to extend its gratitude to the Fire Stations for hosting donation bins, the Lakewood City Schools for the generous use of space and the help of supportive staff, and our wonderful adult volunteers who use their expertise, year after year, to make the whole effort run smoothly. All these people come together to provide a winning combination of helping the community, service learning for H2O volunteers, and a meaningful way to raise funds for our program. You can be part of this great day by coming out to shop on Saturday, July 28.
