Get ArtsSmart At Beck Center This Fall!

The leaves are changing and the calendar tells us that fall is officially here, but it’s not too late to register for the fall semester of visual arts classes at Beck Center. The second session of VA classes begins the week of November 5. Budding artists can choose from a variety of classes and workshops for all ages and artistic abilities. From Kids-N-Art for preschoolers, to after-school workshops for elementary students, to Life Drawing for teens and adults.

Students ages 8 to 14 will enjoy ArtsSmart, a creative art class inspired by the works of famous artists such as Picasso, Dali, Van Gogh, Matisse, Warhol, and others. Each week students create their own art based upon the style and techniques used by the highlighted artist.

In addition, Beck Center offers classes in Botanical Painting, Cartooning, Drawing Fundamentals, Family Clay Time, Pottery/Stoneware, Watercolors, and more. Students can explore their inner artist with the guidance of Beck Center’s talented visual arts faculty. Beck Center is also hosting two special workshops this fall – Breakfast Special: Create A Bowl & Mug, November 12 & 19; and Ho! Ho! Ho! Holiday Ornaments Galore, December 18.
