First Federal Lakewood Continues To Add Local Jobs

We are pleased to announce that our roots and commitment to the City of Lakewood will grow even deeper with the relocation of our mortgage loan operations department to the top two floors of Lakewood Center West, 14650 Detroit Avenue, by year end.

This expansion reflects the record growth First Federal Lakewood has enjoyed over the past few years. We are proud of recently recording our 19th consecutive quarter of net income as well as our successful acquisition of Century Bank in 2010. Also, with our record loan volume this year we are now ranked 3rd in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties in mortgage loan purchases and refinances.

First Federal has grown from 205 employees in 2010 to 340 as of September, 2012 – an increase of 66%. The number of employees housed in Lakewood has also continued to grow and there are now 184 employees working at our headquarters, making First Federal Lakewood one the largest employers in the city.
