Ranger Basketball Games To Benefit MADD

The Lakewood Rangers basketball program will be hosting its 5th annual basketball Ohio High School Athletic Association Foundation Game vs. Lutheran West on Nov. 30. The game is part of Foundation Service Week, a leadership/service program through the OHSAA to give student-athletes service opportunities.

All proceeds from Foundation games go toward a charity or service organization. This year, the teams will be supporting Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) and honoring the life of Lakewood varsity player Nick Porter’s brother, Curtis, who was killed by a drunk driver.  Game times are freshmen at 4:30 pm, JV at 6 pm, followed by varsity around 7:30 pm. Admission is $6 adults, $4 students with proceeds going to MADD.
