Lakewood Hospital Foundation is proud to host the ninth annual Starry Night fundraiseron Friday, August 1, from 7 to 10 p.m. (6 p.m. for sponsor and “Shooting Star” early admittance) the biggest and best street party in Lakewood. Recognized as one of the west side’s premier events of the summer, the festivities are held outside on Lakewood Hospital’s campus where guests can dine on a variety of gourmet cuisine offerings while enjoying live entertainment.

Proceeds from Starry Night benefit the Diabetes Assistance Initiative (DAI), a program of the Lakewood Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Center that provides funds for diabetes testing supplies, medications and education to individuals who are unable to afford this life-saving support. The Diabetes Assistance Initiative (DAI) is completely supported through philanthropy and was established to help people with Type 1, Type 2 or gestational diabetes as well as pre-diabetes obtain medications, supplies and self-management education.
