8th Grade Parents Invited To LHS Open House/College Night

Lakewood High School invites parents of Lakewood 8th graders to join them for Open House and College & Career Night on Wednesday, September 3, from 5-8:30 pm. The evening will start off in the Civic Auditorium at 5 pm where parents will hear important information about planning for college and career readiness, appropriate for all grade levels, from the LHS Guidance Department.

From 6-6:30 p.m., there will be a college and career fair with representatives from area four-year, two-year and trade colleges in the East Cafeteria. At 6:30, parents will follow a simulated student schedule to give parents a snapshot of the LHS curriculum, its teachers and the LHS learning environment.
