Beck Center To Host Alex Sheen, Founder Of “because i said i would.”

Join Beck Center and its newly formed Associate Board from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, for an evening with Alex Sheen, the founder of the international movement ”because i said i would.” Refreshments will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m.

“because i said i would.” is an international social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through the importance of promises made and kept. To encourage positive change and acts of kindness, the organization sends “promise cards” anywhere in the world at no cost. People use these cards to remember the importance of their word, for promises both big and small. Alex has traveled around the world to tell his story and inspire others in his mission to enact positive change and acts of kindness.

Meet Alex and network at a reception immediately following his talk. Tickets are $25 each; refreshments and promise cards provided, along with a cash bar. Free parking is available. Tickets can be purchased at beckcenter.org or by phone at 216.521.2540 x10.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Beck Center for the Arts and is presented with support by Engage! Cleveland (engagecleveland.com).
