Sunday Concert Tradition Alive At The Library

The Brittany Reilly Band

Every season the Library hosts Sunday with the Friends. This long-standing tradition brings Northeast Ohio’s best bands and solo performers right here to Lakewood Public Library nearly every Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium.

This fall and winter the Library will once again host performers who play everything from rock to opera.

On September 7, The Brittany Reilly Band kicks off the fall and winter season. Based out of Bay Village, this constantly evolving jam band has no plans for slowing down or settling on a line-up. Carried away on a whirlwind tour through twenty-eight states with nearly a thousand shows under their belts, the Brittany Reilly Band welcomes new musicians and new material as a natural part of the flow. Their inspiration is a fusion sound of psychedelic rock, honkytonk, bluegrass, blues, Americana, western swing and Grateful Dead styled influences. Brittany's voice is strong and true, and every day brings fresh possibilities for new music.

Following this great act will be The Vibrant Wind Dancers on September 14 and World Slavery and the Rise of American Music with guitarist Ray Kamalay on September 21.
