Fall Harvest Dinner: A Celebration Of Food & The Season A Benefit For Lakewood PTAs

PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is Lakewood’s professional parent organization. As a member of the PTA, parents become equal partners, along with teachers and administrators, in shaping the educational experience for students. Our members enjoy many benefits such as friendship and fun, positive relationships with the administrators and teachers as well as being “in the know” on current happenings within the school district.

The community is invited to join PTA and Players on Madison on Monday, October 6th, for a Fall Harvest Dinner: A Celebration of Food & the Season to benefit Lakewood PTAs. Players has put together a beautiful menu that showcases the best the season has to offer. For just $35, attendees will get their choice of a salad, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. PTA’s mission is to work on behalf of every child in our school district: to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship, to raise the standards of home life, to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth, to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth, and to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

The Lakewood Council of PTAs serves nine PTA/PTSAs; Lakewood Early Childhood PTA (0-6 years), Grant Elementary, Harrison Elementary, Horace Mann Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Garfield Middle School, Harding Middle School, and Lakewood High School.
