Natural Wellness For Women: Lakewood Prenatal And Fertility Massage

Women in all stages of life have a new resource this year for their alternative health needs. As a Liscensed Massage Therapist (LMT) I recently joined the team at Norris Family Chiropractic, providing therapeutic massage for natural fertility support and for the childbearing year and beyond.

For women who are trying to conceive, fertility massage supports hormonal balance and helps improve circulation to the abdominal organs. It may be used in conjunction with Assisted Reproductive Technology or as a standalone treatment. This treatment can also assist women who are not trying to conceive, but are experiencing pain or discomfort with their cycle, including symptoms of menopause.

Prenatal massage is adapted for the mother’s comfort and safety in all three trimesters, and can alleviate common complaints such as back or hip pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. Massage during pregnancy has also been associated with a reduced risk of prematurity and postpartum depression. Mothers who have recently given birth can support their recovery, including healing cesarean scars, with postpartum massage.

I have been a practicing massage therapist in the Cleveland area since 2010. In addition to my work with women's health, I have treated a diverse range of clients from children to athletes to elders, and truly enjoy providing individualized care to each person who entrusts their wellness to my hands.
