  • Ryan Salo, checks the RTA schedule on his smart phone, as we get coffee at Blackbird Bakery.

  • Ryan runs for the bus bringing back bad thoughts.

  • The driver waited until we figure everything out.

  • WOW! Big and clean.

  • I didn't realize they had theater seating.

  • Ryan relaxes as we take off.

  • The seats are branded CSU but not embrodiered.

  • Ryan looks back to the last view of Lakewood before going downtown.

  • Eric Pate, regular rider and great guy. Works for Souper Market, a place Ryan and I both love, and boy is he a good ambassador for them.

  • And a ton of fun. Eric, pretending he was a bum sleeping on the bus. He said it was "very uncomfortable."

  • The Stephanie Tubs Jones Bus Station.

  • After putting the bus in park, and keeping her foot on the brake, the bus driver allows us a selfie. She was a great RTA representative.

  • However the STJ Bus Station was empty.

  • Ryan approcahed on ofe the RTA Transit Police.

  • Again, a perfect employee. I couldn't rattle him at all. Polite, informative, helpful.

  • A little street art at the station.

  • Then we walked down to Playhouse Square.

  • Then downtown.

  • Interesting, you can park for $1 more than a round trip on the bus.

  • Doors still locked all over downtown.

  • We got to the Old Arcade and saw this art.

  • I have always loved this place. So I paused and created...

  • Moving on, we see Barrio is opening a place Downtown. Good PR for Lakewood.

  • Ryan took me into the casino for the first time.

  • The place was empty!

  • Then we headed down to Lakeside. It was just like the airport, while waiting for a bus, we could see buses like the one we would ride go by.

  • Still clean.

  • Back home. A great ride, on a nice line. If RTA gets rid of the signs, we may come to use this fabulous service.
