No Sew T-Shirt Craft At The Lakewood Public Library

Hey teens! What do you do with your old t-shirts that no longer fit? What about the one that mom has deemed “unwearable” simply because the bottom or sleeves are tattered and torn?

You think that lends it character, but no matter how much you argue mom wants that shirt in the rag bag.

If you are not ready to give up your favorite Pokemon shirt, we can teach you to make that shirt into a pillow without sewing a stitch.

All you need is an old t-shirt with a printed character or logo you can’t live without on the front. That logo and the back of your shirt will become the front and back of the pillow. We will provide the stuffing and the instruction to make you t-shirt into a keepsake that mom will not mind you holding onto for years to come.

The program will be held on Saturday, March 28 from 4:30 to 5:30 in the Main Library Auditorium. Space is limited and registration required. You may register online, in person, or you can call, 216-226-8275 ext. 140.
